115+ Hour Film Marathon

WroFilm organizes the 115+ hours of non-stop film screening at ATOM cinema and hopes to challenge the current Guiness record of 114 hours.
The screening will commence at 10:00, Monday 20.02.06 and, with 10 minute breaks in-between, continue till the morning of Saturday 25.02.06. You can download the list of films here with Polish titles or with original titles + the year of release + the languages used/spoken in PDF. The selection of films is focused on the European art cinema and many of them will be subtitled in Polish.
You can also come and watch the movies without participating in this film marathon. The various types of tickets are available to suit your need and desire:
1 movie - 12zł (reduced: 10zł)
any of 3 movies - 27zł
any of 5 movies - 40zł
any of 10 movies - 70zł
all movies - 100zł (i.e., free access to the cinema any time)
Although the list of official marathon participants is now closed, if you purchase the “all movies” ticket and sit from the 1st movie (”Das Boot”), then you will be automatically qualified for the challenge.
The condition of challenge is very simple: watch the movies non-stop, as long as you can without falling asleep.
As soon as you fall asleep, you will be disqualified.
Wrocław Weekly will be reporting the daily minutes on video everyday during the event!

Miroslaw Rajkowski - philosopher & historian of art - works simultaneously with three different media: word, video and voice. The sound produced through the acoustic and electronic instruments connected to two singing voices is a must for the amateurs of the unconventional sound.
At Firlej, Rajkowski will be presenting the “Natural Abhorret Vacuum 2″ Project, mixing the video and audio performances in real-time.
