Open Days at Creative Arts Centre
27,28 February and 1,2,3,4 March at 7:00 pm.

OPT 2006During the open days you may enrol to a number of different courses, such as:

* Contemporary Literary Workshop
* Drawing and painting course
* Computer Film editing
* Percussion workshop
* Artistic photography
* Digital photography
* Computer graphics

*Additionally, you may take advantage of separate courses in drawing specifically designed to prepare you for the entrance exams to the Academy of Art or Architecture

** The courses include: work in professionally equipped atelier and dark rooms, lectures and film presentations dealing with various aspects of photography, hand on experience with high class digital cameras, computer workshops and twice a year – open air workshops.

CONCERTS, FILMS, EXHIBITIONS, ETC FOR ALL THE WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS ARE FOR FREE!!

“Art has always promoted the discourse and understanding among different cultures.
The concept basing explicity on a European cooperation, presents new approaches to art as well as communication; a circulating of pictures beyond all restrictions by language problems: an experiment performed by artists of various countries, reflecting issues of present political, philosophical and aesthetic concern.” (taken from http://euroscreen.ba-no.de/projects/projects.html)

“Point of View” is a border-crossing art project in the range of video/new media art. At Entropia will be presented the works of 44 young artists from 23 countries, including that of Robert B. Lisk from Wrocław. Free entrance.

The estimate time of breaking the Guinness Record is 9:40 CET. Every 24 hours we have lost 50% of the remaining contestants and, according to this calculation, by tomorrow morning, we should have a winner… not today. “In the end, there can be only one.”

9:10 - 4 contestants remaining / 53 contestants eliminated.

At 116hours 05min, the 4 contestants decided to put an end to the challenge. The new Guinness World Record, when confirmed.

12:30 - 6 contestants remaining / 51 contestants eliminated. The organizers claim that the projection schedule is more or less faithful to the published schedule, and yet the last break between the films was 30 min ahead of the schedule.
