Under the direction of John White, the past 6 years the student theatre group “Shakespeare Wrocław” has been presenting the performance of Shakespearian plays with the original English dialogue. This year they selected the comedy “The Merry Wives of Windsor.” In the interview, White explains that Shakespeare is not difficult and that the dramatization of the plays is a way to understand them better. The performance will take place on May 26th, 27th, 28th and June 2nd, 3rd and 4th all at 16:00 at PRACOFFNIA (ul. Więzienna 6). Read the rest of this entry »

“Madness” is the central theme of the forthcoming number of the cultural magazine “Rita Baum,” and this number will present works on the concept of “madness,” not quite in its traditonal (i.e., clinico-medical) sense, but as an experience of (post)modern existence, a cultural strategy, or as a religious phenomenon.
