To commemorate the establishment of the intergovernmental organization of “Francophones,” every year the SCAC (Service de coopération et d’action culturelle) in Wrocław organizes “Journées de la Francophonie” festival. The guiding theme of the festival is French language and the culture of Francophones beyond national boundaries. The main events this year are the concert by Olivia Ruiz, a piano recital by Olga Rusina, and the theatre spectacle by Mata Gabin. The 4th installment of the contemporary dance series - “Wibracje Taneczne / Dance Vibrations” - presents “Prawa półkula (Right Hemisphere)” by the choreographer Marysia Stokłosa. The title makes a reference to the right hemisphere of the human brain, and the project is inspired by and aims to explore the qualities attributed to that side of the brain, such as spatial abilities, visual imaging and music.
