The 4th edition of the “Survival” art festival is held, for the first time in its history, in the open public space: the main railway station of Wrocław. One of the key organizers – Michał Bieniek – goes so far as to describe it as “the public space per excellence,” the space that the travellers, the homeless people, the poor and the rich all share alike. In our video interview, we asked Michał Bieniek why “Survival” – why this title was given to this festival and what is its necessity today (political, artistic or otherwise). We also asked him about the experience of working with the space of the railway station.
